Sermon on the Mount
What does it mean to seek first the kingdom in our relationships, values, ambitions, and commitment to God? Jesus gathered all His newly selected disciples on the side of a hill and tried to explain what "Kingdom living" was all about. This group, lead by Dave Young, will provide a discussion on one of the gospel's most important teachings.
Saturday Morning 7:30AM
Panorama of the Bible
This group, lead by Pastor Jamie, will provide a simple way to remember the entire outline of the Bible and learn key spiritual truths from each "era" that we discover. This will be excellent for newer believers who want to get a handle on the whole Bible all at once, for the man who is teaching and needs to gain confidence in his handling of the Scripture, and for the dad who wants to know more than his kids! We will be using "30 Days to Understanding Your Bible."
Not Even A Hint
The biggest issue plaguing men is the issue of lust and the feeling of tremendous guilt over sexual sin. In the past we have had "Every Man's Batte" and purity seminars, and now we are using Josh Harris' new book "Not Even A Hint." This group, lead by Bill Burgoon, is outstanding for young men who want to establish purity early, have struggled with lust (all of us!), or need to reclaim their purity!
